Description | Image shows the northeast corner a log cabin. The first log is laid on a layer of rock, which holds the cabin slightly above ground level. This structure is the Ramsey Cabin, which was disassembled near milepost 50, restored, and reconstructed at the Humpback Rocks Visitor Center and Mountain Farm. This image was taken near milepost 5.8 in Section 1B of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Taken by C. S. Grossman in June 1953. |
