Description Image shows close-up of entry ramp and hatch of a chicken house built by John C. Clark in 1881, moved and restored at Humpback Rocks, Va., in Augusta County near milepost 5 of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The hatch is hinged with two leather straps and propped closed by a thin piece of wood over the door. The image was taken by C. S. Grossman in June of 1953.
