Description This photograph shows a hillside with no vegetation sloping up from a portion of an unpaved road. Four members of the conscientious objectors program are working with shovels, and the image depicts the slope after sawdust and earth had been used to fill holes. Earth is also being lost on the slope due to rounding. This photograph was taken near station 1280+75 in section 1C.
