Description Image shows a roadside information station on US 220, near Roanoke, Va., with a sign titled "Accommodations convenient to the Parkway." The sign includes information on accommodations near the Blue Ridge Parkway, listing the distance via parkway, lodging places, food places, and car service stations. Information pamphlets on the identified areas are provided on both sides of the sign, and include Asheville, N.C.; Boone, N.C.; Galax, Va.; Hendersonville, N.C.; Linville, N.C.; and Waynesville, N.C.
