Description Image shows a gas station on the left side of the road. There are signs advertising Silver Gable cabins, including signs stating "Sandwiches, soft drinks, cold beer," "Modern rest rooms and cabins," and "Cabins steam heated." The gas station has an Amoco sign hanging in front, and smaller signs advertising Coca Cola and Nehi posted in the ground. A second gas station stands next to the Amoco station, with a Gulf sign standing on the side of the road. In the distance, other buildings are visible on the right side of the road. Power lines stand on both sides of the road. Image taken on Route 11 to Salem, Va., one mile from the Roanoke County line, near milepost 121 of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Image taken by Albert S.
