The plant was found in Roanoke County, Virginia, along a branch which enters Roanoke River 500 yards east of Route 11 at southern city limits. The photograph was taken by Myrl Brooks on April 5, 1950. Marked by the National Park Service as being from milepost 125 in section 1N of the Blue Ridge Parkway. |
