A short stretch of road branches off of the Blue Ridge Parkway in this area, and it provides access to the Peaks of Otter visitor center. There are signs in the median between the two roads, one of which reads "Keep Right" and the other of which reads "Visitor Center". The image was taken near milepost 86 in Section 1K of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Taken by Robert G. Bruce in August 1973. |
