Commentary | Waterrock Knob is located along Section 2X of the Blue Ridge Parkway between Jackson and Haywood Counties. It is the highest peak in the Plott Balsams range with an elevation of 6,292 feet (1,918 meters.) A hiking trail leads to its summit, where there is a visitors center. |
