Date November 12, 1942
Description This article announces the end of the construction of section 2Y. It recaps the main features of the section and the main hurdles the contractor had to face to build three tunnels and move 750,00 yards of rock and dirt. It explains how the shortages of material due to the war has forced the contractor to adapt its road building techniques because trucks, gasoline and tires were not available in sufficient quantity.
