Commentary The Blue Ridge Parkway is used by cyclists as well as motor traffic. These two are examples of the many tourists who utilize the road because of the beautiful natural surroundings as well as the accessible paved path. This section of the Parkway opened to the public in 1967 and runs near the Biltmore Estate.
