Description | Francis writes to Godbey, editor of the Greensboro Daily News, in response to Dec. 15, 1938 article "Note on the Mountains" citing inaccuracies and asking him to print the "true facts." The final paragraph of the 3 page letter reveals the Clarksons' immense frustration with the "ill-will" of Attorney Charles Ross who used the newspapers to spread "untruthful propaganda." Says that both Ross and Frank Dunlap are now "running."
