Title Unanswerable On The Merits
Date September 18, 1934
Description Editorial which reasserts the self-evident nature of North Carolina's case for the Parkway routing through the state. Also criticizes as weak the points made by Tennessee in argument for their preferred route. Specifically critiques two of Tennessee's assertions: first, that the mountains are best viewed from the low vantage point of the Tennessee route's valleys; and second, that there it is unreasonable to route the parkway to all of the resort areas in North Carolina.
