Commentary | Overpasses were used to transport travelers to desired locations and also provide them with magnificent views. This section of the road was begun in early 1936 and finished in 1937. Various federal and state agencies, like the Civilian Conservation Corps and Bureau of Public Roads, provided labor for parkway construction. |
