The Guilford Battleground: Then and Now

This tour contrasts historic images of the battleground park with photographs of the present-day landscape. As this tour vividly demonstrates, how visitors experience the site today is quite different from how the park's founders intended. The locations of monuments have changed, and some monuments have been removed. The lake that the founders' created has been drained. The open fields of the early park have given way to dense vegetation.
