    The World War Two Dead memorial is dedicated to Iridell County citizens who were killed in WWII. A slab of granite is approximately four-feet tall by two-feet wide and six-inches thick with a polished face holding the inscription and rough-hewn edges. It stands on a single granite foundation block. Identical inscriptions appear on both sides. Below the inscription on the front are two columns with 50 names each. On the rear are two columns with a total of 49 names.

    The memorial is located in the Walk of Honor outside the Iredell County Hall of Justice off Constitution Avenue in Statesville, The Hall of Justice street address is 226 Stockton St, Statesville, NC 28677. The marker stands next to Iredell County World War I Memorial and Iredell County Korean & Vietnam War Memorial.
