    The World War Two Dead memorial is dedicated to Iridell County citizens who were killed in WWII. A slab of granite is approximately four-feet tall by two-feet wide and six-inches thick with a polished face holding the inscription and rough-hewn edges. It stands on a single granite foundation block. Identical inscriptions appear on both sides. Below the inscription on the front are two columns with 50 names each. On the rear are two columns with a total of 49 names.

The marker stands next to Iredell County World War I Memorial and Iredell County Korean & Vietnam War Memorial.
