American Wars Missing in Action, Wilmington
The Missing in Action memorial is a two piece granite lectern style marker. The base is a finished block with the larger lectern top having a finished face with rough hewn edges. A metal plaque is attached to the lectern top. The courthouse flagpole stands between this memorial and one to the Korean Conflict and Vietnam Conflict.
Given the style and placement of the two memorials and flagpole they were certainly planned as a single memorial setting.
