Sir, [Secretary of Board of Trade]

I have communicated to my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty your Letter, inclosing an Extract of one from Mr. Dobbs Governor of North Carolina to the Lords Commissioners for Trade & Plantations giving an account that the Coasts of that Province are infested by the Enemies Privatiers from the West Indies; and in return I am to accquaint you for the Information of the Lords of Trade, that a Twenty Gun Ship and Sloops are ordered upon that station in order for their Protection, and to annoy the Enemy.
