Resolutions of the Virginia Convention giving thanks to the North Carolina Troops.

[Williamsburgh] Friday December 22d, 1775.

Resolved unanimously That the Thanks of this Convention are justly due to the brave officers, gentlemen volunteers, and soldiers of North Carolina as well as our brethren of that Province in general, for their prompt and generous aid in defence of our common rights against the enemies of America and of the British Constitutution; and that the President be desired to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Colonel Howe.
