It appears by dispatches from Charles Town that the Indians

have actually commenced Hostilities so that our presence at Salisbury is unnecessary, having given General Rutherford the necessary orders. Any dispatches you may have for this Board you'l please direct to Whitfields Ferry in Dobbs County by the way of Halifax, C. H.
