8 O'clock August 14th, 1780.

I am now without provisions, and all my horses nearly given out; shall wait here till 4 O'clock this evening, by wch time expect I shall hear from you.

I have the honour to be,
With much respect, Sir,
Your very hum. Servt.,
EDWARD STEVENS.
