The Lords Commissioners for Trade and Plantations having lately received a letter from Arthur Dobbs Esqre Governor of North Carolina dated the 31st of October last in which he acquaints them that the Coasts of that Province are infested by Privateers from the West Indies for want of cruizing Vessels properly stationed for their Protection, I am directed by their Lordships to send you the inclosed extract of so much of Mr. Dobbs letter as relates to this matter and to desire you will lay it before the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty.
