TO JOHN WALKER, COMMANDING OFFICER AT WILMINGTON, FROM
GOV. THOMAS BURKE.
[From Executive Letter Book.]

Little River, February 5th, 1782.

Sir:

I have written to the Commanding Officer at Wilmington, on the subject of the Flag, and some time since to General Lillington on the subject relative to the persons ordered to remove.

Mrs. Dubois must be accused of some criminal practices before such proceedings, as you recommend, can be justifiable.

I am, Sir, your ob. Serv’t,
THOMAS BURKE.
