Occoneechee, March 19th, 1782.

Sir:

In consequence of an Information from the Governor of South Carolina against a certain Richard Sutton, and a request to apprehend him for Offenses against that State, I caused him to be apprehended, and I request you to take Charge of him along with your Detachment of Troops until you deliver him to the Governor of that State or arrive at the Head Quarters of the Army, at which

time General Greene will, I doubt not, cause him to be sent to the Governor or other proper Magistrate.
