The Board of Officers convened by order of Lt. Col. Lytle are of Opinion the following Officers are intitled to commands in the No. Carolina Line from their Rank, viz:

That if any Officer nominated to a Command Agreeable to rank, do not serve but is permitted to retire by Exchange, or quit the Service the next Senior Officer as here Arranged shall be call’d into the Service. And as a Number of Officers intitled to Command in the line are absent on duty, and others are prisoners of War, it is Necessary to nominate the following Officers present to do duty, until the proper Officers can take Commd. on the foregoing principles.
