William Brevard Dusenbery (1834–1861) was the son of Lydia Davis (1797–1857) and Henry Rounsaville Dusenbery (1794–1852) and James Dusenbery’s youngest brother. He entered the University in 1850, joined the Dialectic Society, and graduated in 1853. He returned to Lexington, NC, and joined his brother Mack in the coach trimming business. William died of consumption in Marianna, FL, in 1861. He never married.
