| Description | Jack Marcus of Florence, S.C. leased theater holdings of Howard and Wells who are retiring. Marcus is taking over management of Royal and Victoria. Howard and Wells will continue association with Bijou. Victoria is to be used as chief feature house with its own orchestra, 3 changes each week of program. Victoria must admit blacks, because prices are listed as same for them. Marcus has owned and managed theaters in Elmira, N.Y., Opelika, Ala, and several in S.C. |
