On October 15, 1910, the Wilmington Star noted that crowds at the Joyland were "increasing daily," and, indeed, receipts for the week ending October 14 ($134.65) were slightly higher than for the previous week.

But the Joyland would not see attendance at this level again until the week of Thanksgiving (week ending November 25), when the theater took in $141.00. Receipts dropped the following week to only $109.55.
