<salute><hi rend="italics">To Medical Directors of Hospitals:</hi></salute></opener>
        <p>Under the authority conveyed in Section 6, General Orders No. 66, A.&amp; I. G. O., current series, extra pay will be allowed certain men in General Hospitals, as follows:</p>
        <list type="simple">
          <item>Hospital Stewards,. . . . . $1.00 <foreign lang="lat"><hi rend="italics">per diem</hi></foreign>.</item>
          <item>Ward Masters (detailed). . . . . 50 cts. <foreign lang="lat"><hi rend="italics">per diem</hi></foreign>.</item>
        </list>
        <p>This allowance to detailed Ward Masters is inclusive of the 25 cents <foreign lang="lat">per diem</foreign>, extra duty pay, allowed under previous regulations. </p>
