Devastation and loss in flooded White Stocking

Renee Lee recalls her strong reaction to the terrible sight and smell of the dead animals they encountered as they tried to reach their home. The devastation there brought her to tears. Ashley Lee tried to track down her valuable possessions—her cheerleading outfit, dance trophies, a family scrapbook. Ashley managed to salvage a lot of sentimental items, but it seems the Lees lost much more than they were able to save.
