    Kenneth Norton attended segregated Ada Jenkins School in Davidson, NC, in the 1930s. In this interview, he shares some memories about the school and segregated Davidson. Norton describes an under-resourced school able to offer only eleven grades, limited instruction, and well-used uniforms for its sports teams. This interview offers background for those interested in the history of segregation in schools.
