                <p>We the undersigned after making measurements from Boundary A. along <name key="name0000396" reg="Franklin Street" type="place">Franklin St.</name> to the
                    intersection of the first cross street west of <name key="name0000215" reg="Columbia Street" type="place">Columbia St.</name>
                    <gap reason="[unrecovered]"/> to the intersection of the college avenue and along
                    said college avenue to <name key="name0000215" reg="Columbia Street" type="place">Columbia St.</name> and there down <name key="name0000215" reg="Columbia                         Street" type="place">Columbia St.</name> to where it is intersected by <name key="name0000396" reg="Franklin Street" type="place">Franklin
                    St.</name>— that it will take 7544 feet of pipe when laid. This amount
                    with the additional length necessary of pipe to connect with the college works
                    will make 8464, equal one mile, one half and 544 feet of pipe when laid and will
                    require a Gas Holder of double the capacity as proposed for the College works,
                    larger pipes near and about<pb id="unc02-76-p02" n="2"/>the Gas works and 50
                    metres being the approximate number of the houses in the village likely to use
                    Gas. The estimated cost of the works would be $7000. Our estimate as
                    accepted by you for the college works is $6000 (independent of Gas
                    fitting and fixtures as named in specifications) making whole capital stock
                    required $13.000.</p>
