                <p>Resolved that the prayer of the politicians be not granted, but that such should
                    be instituted &amp;c.</p>

                    which being read was ordered to lie upon the table for further consideration.</p>

                    appointed a committee to enquire into the right and propriety of selling M<hi rend="sup">r</hi><name key="pn0000578" reg="Gerrard, Charles" type="person" rend="yes"> Gerrards</name> service right of land and the land warrants
                    belonging to the <name key="name0000107" type="organization" reg="Board of                         Trustees">Trustees</name>, and to make a report thereon.</p>
                <p>Be it ordained by the <name key="name0000107" type="organization" reg="Board of                         Trustees">Trustees</name> of the <name key="name0001146" type="organization" reg="University of North Carolina">University of North Carolina</name>; and
                    it is hereby ordained by the authority of the same; that the following plan of
                    education shall be adopted for the preparatory school and College in the <name key="name0001146" type="organization" reg="University of North Carolina">University</name> of this State for the future tenet.</p>
