Owen</name> resigned.</p> <p>The Report of a Committee of the <name key="name0000107" reg="Board of Trustees" type="organization">Trustees</name> in relation to the Observatory & burying ground at <name key="name0000165" reg="Chapel Hill, NC" type="place" rend="yes">Chapel Hill</name> which was, by an order of the <name key="name0000107" reg="Board of Trustees" type="organization">Board</name> of the 2<hi rend="sup">nd</hi>. January inst. referred to this <name key="name0000352" reg="Executive Committee, Board of Trustees" type="organization" rend="yes">Committee</name>, was taken up & considered when on motion of M<hi rend="sup">r</hi>. <name key="pn0001260" reg="Nash, Frederick" type="person" rend="yes">Nash</name></p> <p>Resolved that the Treasurer of the <name key="name0000107" reg="Board of Trustees" type="organization">Board</name> be authorized & directed to pay to D<hi rend="sup">r</hi>. <name key="pn0000268" reg="Caldwell, Joseph" type="person">Joseph Caldwell</name> the sum of Four hundred & Ninety four dollars & seventy one cents ($494 71/100) to reimburse him the Cash expended in the erection of the Observatory and in enclosing the said Grave yard. </p> <closer> <salute rend="right"><name key="name0000352" reg="Executive Committee, Board of Trustees" type="organization">Committee</name> adjourned.</salute> </closer> </div1> </body> </text> </TEI.2>
