                <p>On motion of M<hi rend="sup">r</hi> <name key="pn0000074" reg="Badger, George Edmund" type="person">Badger</name><lb/>Resolved<lb/>That a copy of the annual Report of the Treasurer be communicated by the President of the Board to the present <name key="name0000756" reg="North Carolina General Assembly" type="organization" rend="yes">General Assembly</name>.</p>
                <p>On motion of D<hi rend="sup">r</hi> <name key="pn0000268" reg="Caldwell, Joseph" type="person">Caldwell</name><lb/>Resolved<lb/>That M<hi rend="sup">r</hi> <name key="pn0003404" reg="Yancey, Bartlett" type="person" rend="yes">Yancey</name>, M<hi rend="sup">r</hi> <name key="pn0000074" reg="Badger, George Edmund" type="person">Badger</name>, &amp; M<hi rend="sup">r</hi> Moore be appointed a Committee to prepare and present to the Legislature a Bill prohibiting the distillery or retailing of spirituous liquors at or near <name key="name0000165" reg="Chapel Hill, NC" type="place">Chapel Hill</name> &amp; prohibiting the Merchants of said Village from trading with the Students.</p>
