Description Judge Clarkson asks the Secretary of Interior to consider making the Park-to-Park road a loop, making sure that it passes near Asheville.
Commentary This was written before the parkway plan was finalized. Clarkson notes the need for the road to go through Asheville to please tourists and "save" the region. Clarkson also lists the total tobacco tax collections for the state to make a case for North Carolina to get a return on what it has paid the federal government. Box 4, folder 75.
