Commentary | Bull Head Mountain is located in between Cumberland Knob and Doughton Park. It was recommended by Stanley Abbott that the mountain land be acquired for the Blue Ridge Parkway in 1935, but Bull Head Mountain was never acquired. The mountain has recently experienced timber harvesting and rural development. |
