Vietnam War Dead Memorial, Kenansville
The Vietnam War Memorial is a thin gable top slab of granite on single base approximately six feet tall. The front lists the names of 19 citizens of Duplin County who gave their lives in the Vietnam War. The rear has an incised wreath beneath which appears the dedication inscription.
West face: DEDICATED / TO THE / HONORED MEMORY / OF DUPLIN COUNTY’S SONS / WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES / IN THE VIETNAM WAR
East face: VIETNAM / 1955 – 1975 / [Two columns with total of 19 names, including hometown, military branch, rank, birth and death dates]

The memorial along with World War II, Korean War, WWI, and Veterans Memorial are all located on the South Grounds of the Duplin County Courthouse in Kenansville. The courthouse address is 112 Duplin St, Kenansville, NC 28349.
The monument stands on the lawn of the Duplin County Court House.
