Columbus County Korea and Vietnam War Memorial, Whiteville
This monument consists of two abstract figures, one arch and one vertical column, both of stone. Beneath the arch, a stone tablet names the war casualties.

The monument sits on the north-west lawn of the Columbus County Courthouse, in the midst of a small commercial area. Columbus County Bicentennial Monument stands to its left. Memorial to James B. White, for whom Whiteville was named, stands on the opposite entrance to the courthouse building.
A diamond-shaped raised bed of oranmental plants surrounds the monument.
