A letter from Mr Eden & the Council of North Carolina setting forth that the prohibition of the sale of land in North Carolina is inconsistent with the setling of the Province &c. was read and their Lordships agreed to consider further of that matter when they have received an answer from that Province in relation to Mr Moseley's Proposals for the better ascertaining the Chief Rents.
Agreed that Mr Eden may have a Title and that the Order under Mr Eden and Col. Spotswood's hands may be approved of, and consented to by his Majesty
