Creation of Jordan Lake, once an alternative to the Cane Creek reservoir

Herzenberg explains how Jordan Lake arrived in the Triangle area as an Army Corps of Engineers program to prevent flooding in the Cape Fear Valley. Jordan Lake was being considered as an alternative source of water to a Cane Creek reservoir.
