And the Course of the Faculty appears to have been marked with extraordinary leniency towards the delinquent: but this Committee believing that the Faculty have superior means of judging of the expediency of the discipline to be administered & having confidence in their Judgment upon the facts in each case deem it unnecessary to express any further opinion in relation thereto.
Resolved that in the opinion of this Committee Mr. H. Herrisse through a want of information they hope, of the usages of the Institution and the necessity of harmony in the action of the Faculty has justly subjected himself to the complaints of the Faculty as contained in their Second Resolutions of August last.
Resolved that the further consideration of the said Memorials of said H. Herrisse & of the Supplemental Key, Appendix & Postscripts be postponed indefinitely.
