Search Tips

  1. Searches are not case sensitive.
  2. There is no need to include "and" between terms. Simply type "reserves ul" to yield information on reserves and UL.
  3. You can search for phrases by adding quotation marks. Words enclosed in double quotes ("like this") will appear together in all returned documents.
  4. To retrieve pages that include either word A or word B, use an uppercase OR between terms.
  5. You can exclude a word from your search by putting a minus sign ("-") immediately in front of the term you want to avoid. Be sure to include a space before the minus sign.
  6. "Stemming" and "wildcard" searches are not supported. Searching for "librar" or "librar*" will not yield "library" or "libraries."
  7. Stop words are ignored. Such terms as "where" and "how," as well as certain single digits and single letters, are automatically disregarded. Use the "+" sign to include stop words in your search. Be sure to include a space before the "+" sign.
  8. For more advanced search strategies, please see Google's help pages at http://www.google.com/intl/en_extra/help/index.html.
  9. Use the version of the page cached at Google to see your search terms highlighted. Beware, however, this may not be the latest version of the page.
  10. The indexes are refreshed approximately every 30 days
