The donations of land to the Trustees were bounded by lines running N and S
— East and West. The streets of the village were laid off at angles of
28° and 62° with the meridian. When therefore lots are laid off
at and near the boundary it becomes necessary to accommodate the lines to the
course of the streets. E. Mitchell
proposes to take from the Trustees the tract (No 1
A) and give them tract (No 1 B) in which exchange he will have a little the best of the bargain, but not much (No 1 A)
being rocky and broken. Also to give (No 2 a.) and take (No 2 b) which is
perfectly fair.
