Iredell County World War II Memorial, Statesville
The World War Two Dead memorial is dedicated to Iridell County citizens who were
killed in WWII.
A slab of granite is approximately four-feet tall by two-feet wide and six-inches thick with a polished face holding the inscription and rough-hewn edges. It stands on a single granite foundation block. Identical inscriptions appear on both sides. Below the inscription on the front are two columns with 50 names each. On the rear are two columns with a total of 49 names.

The marker stands next to Iredell County World War I Memorial and Iredell County Korean & Vietnam War Memorial.
The monument stands on the lawn to the right of the Iredell County World War One Memorial and Iredell County Korean and Vietnam Wars Memorial. The monuments are surrounded by the lawn and mature trees.
