    The Beaufort County World War One memorial is a rectangular block of granite with rough hewn sides and edges. Inset into the granite are two unadorned bronze plaques with a dark background. The upper plaque is from the 2009 re-dedication. The lower plaque is possibly original, circa 1925. It is lightly weathered and if original, has been refreshed.
