Tyrrell County War Memorial, Columbia
The memorial complex is dedicated to citizens of Tyrrell County who served in the Armed Forces of the United States of America. The memorial includes three granite slabs placed around a flagpole displaying the American flag and the flags of each Armed Forces branch. Each marker has a war inscribed on it, with names of those who served. One marker displays the seals of the Armed Forces on the back. The memorial stands on the red brick circle, on the east side of the courthouse.

The memorial is located on Main Street (Business U.S. 64) east of South Broad Street. The Tyrrell County Confederate Memorial stands on the west side of the courthouse, at the southeast corner of Main Street and Broad Street. The Tyrell County marker is situated at the left corner of the courthouse at the handicap ramp.
