The list of books and articles about North Carolina provided here, though far from exhaustive, features resources that were useful in producing this digital collection. It consists of both primary and secondary sources that complement and supplement the documents in the collection. Our aim was not to tailor the list to a specific group, but rather to make it useful to all audiences interested in the history of North Carolina and to provide an overview of the state's early history.
