| Description | This map shows the General Development Plan for the Peaks of Otter Park on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The map was created by Lewis in June of 1939. The map shows areas of land to be obliterated in different areas of the park. There is a coffee shop and gas station, a lodge, an aquatics area, beach, and picnic areas. Three separate parking areas are shown, with a total capacity of 425 cars. A smaller key map on the bottom left corner shows a more simple view of the plan. |
